A huge thanks to Colm Finnegan, national rugby development officer and Tiernan Gonnelly, local rugby development officer for paying a visit today with two very special pieces of silverware. The Friary Boys were ecstatic to see the visit of the 6 Nations Championship and Triple Crown trophies in their classes this afternoon. This marks a special occasion with Ireland winning these in 2023 for the fourth time and as a result they have gone into the current Rugby World Cup ranked as No.1 in the world. We wish them the very best and we will be cheering on the boys in Green through their groups stages and hopefully further afield. Thanks again to Tiernan and Colm for today visit.
